Chak De India

The last time I was so happy I was 10 and then 12, when India won the Prudential World Cup in 1983 and the World Series in 1985 respectively. This win has eclipsed both of them as I have been waiting for 22 frickin years to be so happy.

Even though i was technically there in ‘83, this one I won’t forget for a long time…even my baby was jumping inside!

it was fun indeed.
was discussing with my friend – for more than 20 years – we been seeing the winning moments of the ‘83 world cup splashed everytime we speak of indian cricket.
now we have this – for the next 20 years ro so

After the recent World cup fiasco, I was not at all expecting this one. Well, I could not believe that we have won. Three cheers!!!

Chak de indeed! Delighted when I found the results.. 
Lagta hai ke Bharat ka cricket ka naye motto “Chak de India” hai… (Pardon my terrible Hindi… I am learning!)
